Steel District Restaurants Bring September Restaurant Week To Downtown Diners
Eleven delicious days are ahead as The Steel District restaurants roll out special lunch and dinner menus for a first-ever Restaurant Week event.
Diners will discover chef-crafted featured dishes at Big Sioux Diner & Dive, Cascata, Dahlia and Ironwood, making it easy to explore new flavors and experience the broad range of foods and beverage available all in one development.

“We wanted to give the Sioux Falls community a fun, approachable reason to come down to The Steel District and explore the variety of dining options available here,” said
Jennifer Seifert-Brenna, vice president of hospitality at Lloyd Companies.
“Rather than choosing just one item, Restaurant Week menus will give guests the opportunity to try multiple dishes or courses with some drink pairing options as well, making it a great introduction to a restaurant they haven’t visited before or a new way to experience a favorite.”

Restaurant Week runs Sept. 10-20, with all participating restaurants offering special lunch and dinner features.
Think 48-Hour Coffee-Rubbed Braised Beef Short Rib at Cascata, Elote Corn at Dahlia, Walleye Tacos at Big Sioux or Steak Oscar at Ironwood.

Look for unique beverages, desserts and sharable dishes too.
“We hope that guests will stay and visit all our restaurants and be immersed in this beautiful setting by Falls Park,” Seifert-Brenna said.
“The expanding entertainment options and walkability of the Steel District is unique to Sioux Falls, and so much more than many of our locals know.”
“We have seen more visitors and guests this summer coming down to absorb the lively atmosphere, but there is always room for more,” Seifert-Brenna said.

“There is still a large percentage of locals that are not familiar with The Steel District and we would love to have them come explore our neighborhood. We want people to make an experience out of their visit. Come for lunch, plan a dinner out, meet up with friends or visit more than once during the week to see what different restaurants are offering.”

Reservations are recommended during Restaurant Week, especially for larger parties or during peak dining times, but walk-in seating also is available.
