Brioux Falls Coffee Shop Opens in The District Tower

Brioux Falls opened on Monday, April 15, inside the nine-story office tower of The Streel District.

Workers commuting through the office building walk by the grab-and-go coffee shop as they exit the skyway connecting the parking garage inside the development’s District Lofts building to the second floor of the office tower at 150 E. Fourth Place.

The coffee shop is owned by Kim and Sean Glover and Kim’s sister, Jennifer Curnell.

In addition to coffee beverages Brioux Falls serves Lotus energy drinks, smoothies and teas from Rishi Teas & Botanicals.

The coffee beans are from Driven Coffee Roasters, a Twin Cities-based business.

Food offerings include breakfast sandwiches on biscuits or bagels, biscuits and gravy, caramel rolls, bagels, yogurt parfaits and charcuterie snack boards. A daily soup offering will rotate throughout the week, Glover said.

There are just a few seats for customers, and they’re lined up along the floor-to-ceiling windows, offering a view of The District Lofts. That building, which is still under construction, will include apartments and condominiums wrapped around the parking garage, along with retail shops on the first floor. Also part of The Steel District is the 216-room Canopy by Hilton that’s expected to open in October.

To start, hours for Brioux Falls will be 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays with plans to open on weekends once more tenants fill the space.
